Forum

As a consequence of the extended contacts with End Users within CLEAR and other projects a Forum will be established to foster discussion and feedback as well as to widely disseminate the information from the project. This Forum will be operated by AUTH and UH as part of WP2. Communication will be primarily via Internet and email ensuring a worldwide audience and rapid feedback. In addition, links to existing networks via Internet will be made to enable effective dissemination both within and outside the CAIR4HEALTH consortium. Currently, all partners have existing links with important networks and where applicable new collaborations will be made. Examples of networks that will aid CAIR4HEALTH include:

• CLEAR database of users consisting of over 1000 contacts, hosted by UH
• Urban air quality conference network list of over 2500 contacts, hosted by UH
• AIRNET list of health related users and stakeholders, hosted by UU3/IRAS
• European Environment Information and Observation Network (EIONET) – provides services such as databases of addresses, mailing lists, sources of help, relevant meetings and available pollution data
• EUROCITIES (network of large European cities) – aims to address urban concerns, encourage partnerships, exchange expertise, share common challenges and provide information through its website (www.EUROCITIES.org/AQM)
• List of previous projects EUROTRAC- 2/SATURN which aims to better understand urban air pollution (now completed)
• AUTO-OIL database
• COST (European Cooperation in the Field of Scientific and Technical Research) – a framework for international research and development cooperation on a European level with different working groups on particular topics. The consortium partners are already members of COST 715 (Meteorology and air Pollution), 633 (Particles and Health) and the new 728 (advanced modelling methods).
• National lists such as the NERC (Natural Environment Research Council) Centres for Atmospheric Science (NCAS)
